June is a graduate of Saint Mary’s of the Plains College in Dodge City, Kansas receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in education. She was the President/CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Finney County in Garden City, Kansas for three years. June moved to Roanoke in 1995 to become the President/CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Roanoke. In 2002 the Roanoke agency merged with both the New River Valley and Roanoke Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters to become the new entity, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Virginia.

Jackie is a Roanoke native and a 2009 graduate of Hollins University.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Business.  Jackie joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Virginia in August 2010 as the Enrollment and Match Support Specialist.  She has been involved with Community Based and School Based matches.  In September 2012, Jackie moved into the position of Director of the Roanoke Valley and her primary responsibilities are the Oliver Hill Mentoring Program.

Jessica Turley is from Salem, Virginia and received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Virginia Tech in 2013. She joined Big Brothers Big Sisters as the Marketing Coordinator in June 2013. In April 2016, Jessica moved into the Director of Fund Development position.

Stacey is originally from Chilhowie, Virginia. She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2008 with a B.S. in Psychology. She has previous experience providing case management services to youth in the community. Stacey joined Big Brothers Big Sisters as the Match Support Specialist in February 2016.

Lauren is from Botetourt County. She just graduated from Roanoke College in May of 2016. Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Sociology with a Concentration in Latin American Studies. She is a member of AmeriCorps and works as a Match Support Specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Roanoke and Salem City schools.

Beth is a 1997 graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.  She began working part time as Match Support Specialist and Education Support Specialist for the Oliver Hill Mentoring Program in 2014 and is now a full time employee.  Her primary responsibilities include the day to day operation and educational enrichment  for the Oliver Hill Mentoring Program.
